  Required:
  
  **Doctor of Pharmacy required from an accredited institution
  **At least one (1) year of hospital clinical Pharmacy experience.
  **BLS
  **Licensed to practice in the State of Texas.
  **A.C.P.E. accredited I.V. Certification
  
  Preferred:
  
  **Completion of PGY-1 residency in an acute care setting.
  **Completion of an accredited Residency in a Hospital Pharmacy (PGY1/PGY2)
  **BCOP (Board Certified Oncology Pharmacist), BCPS - Board Certified Pharmacotherapy Specialist.

The department is a secure unit in the main campus of Laredo Medical Center. This is a busy department that sometimes requires flexibility in scheduling.
